有一点攻壳系列惯有的味道了，但是还是缺乏一些点睛之笔。这一部的作画很出色，高潮的蒙太奇叙事也很令人激动，剪辑中的叙事也有个攻壳一贯的细致性和暗示性。阴谋和哲理都不足，反派的刻画也缺乏。比起它那些堪称伟大的前作，还差得远呢。仍然是有壳无魂的状态。
